Evaluating Past Fashionistas

Image
Rate the Fits Welcome back my beautifuls to todays blog! We will be reviewing some past students works and I will also be giving my feedback on it. This will be a great opportunity to evaluate takeaways to what to not or to include in my own project. So let's get to it! Roll Call The first video is titled "Roll Call" I really enjoyed the idea behind this video. It was really creative and interesting how they spiced their story up right in the beginning. However, the visuals and sounds were lacking a bit. First, the camera used made the video dull colored and bad quality. Moreover, the sound was also not the best. Lacking in these areas really took away from the enjoyment of the video. So overall I will definitely be looking into my project in a more out of the box way, similarly how they did, but I would concentrate on the quality of my video better. New Everything The second film opening is titled "New Everything" I have to say it was lacking in creativity a l...

My Group of Fashionistas

Image
My beauties Welcome back everyone to my blog! Today we will be talking about my group project and other fashionistas I will be collaborating with. I chose to work with 3 wonderful beauties so let's jump right in and get to know them! Miss Miu Miu The first person I will be talking about is Miss Miu Miu, her real name Minh Tran! Well let me tell you about her, she is just a delightful person, always the funniest in the room!  That is what mostly inspired her the nickname I gave her as some of you fashion lovers know Miu Miu even though elegant still has a playful collections and vibrant colors which definitely fits her personality. Now I know this all may sound silly, and you may think: How could this help the group? I think her funny approach to things can enhance the mood of our film opening as she for sure could give us some creative and unique ideas how to make our film opening stand out! She is also a very reliable person; I know I can always count on her which I think is one ...

The Story of Gucci Welcome back beautifuls, in my previous blog we were discussing the movie "House of Gucci" well in today’s blog we are going to go more in depth and do a story boarding of some great scenes in this movie. But before we get to it lets talk about story boarding a little bit: So what is story borading? Well story borading is used as a planning tool for movie makers that involves a sequence of sketches to outline scenes in storytelling. Know you may be wondering,  what is the point of doing this? By doing story boarding it helps creators map out key moments, camera angles, and lighting, etc. before the production of the movie, this makes shure the story goes clearly and effectively. Know that we cleared things up let's jump right into it! Let’s start with the first scene where Patrizia and Maurizio get married! This scene is full of joyfulness which shows the blooming love of the couple in the beginning in the movie. To start with I roughly illustrated...

Mise-en-Scene of Gucci

Image
House of Gucci Welcome back my beautifuls to my blog! Today's topic is going to be about mise-en-scene, a French term that means "to put on scene". I just recently had the chance to see the movie "House of Gucci" I have to say it was amazing! So I was thinking wouldn't it be fun to analyze this movie based on Mise-en-Scene.  Before we get into it lets talk a little bit about the movie itself, the film is about the famous Gucci family and their story, directed by Ridley Scott. One of my favorite singer and actor stars in the movie, Lady Gaga, along with other stars like Adam Driver, Jared Leto, and La Pacion. This movie uses grate mise-en-scene that we will analyze together so let's jump right into it! Before we look into some individual scenes lets talk about the overall mise-en-scene used in the movie. First if all the actors casted was a great aspect of this movie. The actors not only looked more like that stereotypical European look but they also ...
