 Blog Critique For My Peers


 Welcome back my beauties!💗 Today I will be reviewing 4 videos created by my peers and their blog!



The first blog is Sweet Watermelon!

The blog has a really cute theme and gives a casual vibe which makes their blogs more personal. This blogger has put a lot of amazing effort in their videos. They really just draw their audience in! They had six wonderful videos posted, but there was two in particular that I could say were my favorites!  To start off one of them was a two-shot. She did a phenomenal execution. By using this shot it was a great way to show a conversation between two people and their surroundings. It really grabbed my attention as I wanted to know what they are talking about. Second, I was also fond of the over-the-shoulder shot. This shot really creates a more personal atmosphere between the characters while they are having a discussion. It made me really sympathize and feel the emotions between the characters.

The next blog is mimeo wrokshop!


Her blog has such a comfy vibe to it that it pulls you in so fast. I could be scrolling through her blogs forever and not get tired of it. There is definitely a lot of work put into it! For her six videos she picked to film her cat in all of them which I believe is such a great and cute idea, it can draw a lot more attention! One of the videos that stood out to me was the extremely close-up, even though it is an animal the shot still managed to portray Meo's tiredness and grumpy eyes, it was a great execution on conveying these feelings to the audience. Another shot that grabbed my attention was the overhead shot. It really captures Meo in her surroundings. The shot also makes Meo look more vulnerable as it makes her seem so small compared to her environment. Overall she did a great job using these shots to capture the moment!

CCR  Welcome back my beautifuls in todays blog I will be discussing my reflection I had regarding the project! To do my reflection I decided to draw an animation to illustrate and do a voiceover, I also included some slides to condense some information. I think the animation is very cute and kind of an attention hook. It took some time to finally complete it as I first drew the animation and timed each frame so it matches the voiceover. Then I edited the two together using Capcut. I think it turned out pretty good. The Finished Runway Looks

The Finished Collection Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post! Today I am happy to announce that we have finally finished our entire project! I! I just have to say it was sure an interesting and fun experience. I tried and learned a lot of techniques regarding media including learning about different angles, shot sizes, camera movements. I even made my very own story boarding twice! I also learned about the miss and scene of movie making and how costuming, the setting, actors, lighting, all of that can add so much characteristics and improved story telling to a movie. When making our project there were lot of things we could use, and making the right choices in our movie making did put up a challenge for us. Creating a story opening with the mood we wanted to convey and to tell our storyline required us to think about a lot of components when it comes to movie making so we could make this project something we can be proud of presenting.
