Moods of Prada



Welcome back beautifuls to my blog! Today we will be talking about how to create a mood board. I chose the movie I reviewed in a previous blog, 'The Devil Wears Prada'! So let's get to it!

 The movie itself has definitely gives the mood of luxury as well as struggles as it follows the main character. First I collected some pictures to focus on the theme of the movie which would be fashion. This is a good way to convey the overall idea pretty straight. Then I wanted to include some of that luxury places the movie shows, so I searched for some similar places I could find to include in my mood board. Then, I deep dived into the secretary aesthetic the movie creates, this part really focuses in on the main character. Finally, I looked for some filler pictures that would just simply give off the same vibe as the movie to really bring all of the pictures together for example the fashion drawings give the theme of the movie straight forward and still give a mood to the movie because of the drawing style of it and the colors and creativity behind the pieces.

After collecting all the pictures I wanted to use, I used a canva to arrange the pictures to each other. I ended up picking a really dark blue color for the base background, this really gives off a moody vibe. After getting the desired results it turned out pretty cool:

The process of making a story board is not particularly hard and it can help film makers plan ahead of the mood of the film they want to create. CCR  Welcome back my beautifuls in todays blog I will be discussing my reflection I had regarding the project! To do my reflection I decided to draw an animation to illustrate and do a voiceover, I also included some slides to condense some information. I think the animation is very cute and kind of an attention hook. It took some time to finally complete it as I first drew the animation and timed each frame so it matches the voiceover. The Finished Collection Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post! Today I am happy to announce that we have finally finished our entire project! I! I just have to say it was sure an interesting and fun experience. I tried and learned a lot of techniques regarding media including learning about different angles, shot sizes, camera movements. I even made my very own story boarding twice! I also learned about the miss and scene of movie making and how costuming, the setting, actors, lighting, all of that can add so much characteristics and improved story telling to a movie. When making our project there were lot of things we could use, and making the right choices in our movie making did put up a challenge for us.
