Wishlist For The Photoshoot
Welcome back my beauftifuls for today blog post! Today i wanted to talk about if I were to do a major movie production budget how would I conduct it?
Actors
When I think about actors playing a teenager the first one that immediately pops to my mind is the DIVA herself: Zendaya. She started her carrier off at Disney channel and even already then she was known foe her teenage movies she is in, such as shake it, and K.C. undercover, but what later on really grabbed my attention is her phenomenal acting in Euphoria, which is a show about teenagers that includes lots of ups and down making it an emotional rollercoaster to watch, so I know she would do amazing for a coming-of-age movie that requires lots of emotions.
Costumes
As for the costumes I would not change a lot to be honest. Our main character portrays a young and average living girl,
blending into society. So I would not put her in designer clothing or clothe that looks very expensive for the audience as the purpose of the character is to be able to be relatable and get close to the watcher, that can be done by having regular and comfortable clothes. What I could imagine is using still high quality costume but does not look out of the ordinary, this is mostly to make the actor feel more comfortable and to not make our character look really cheap either, I would want to just find the middle ground between, cheap looking and high-class fashion.
Setting/location
The setting of our movie I would also not change up too much. I like the downstairs set up in our movie, so the only thing is my bedroom decoration that I would switch up. I have a very renaissance antique furniture which may seem unusual for the audience as, why would a teenager have that kind of appliance? I would imagine our character to have more modern decoration that matches her young personality. I think the antique set just don't fit as well as we are trying to convey that our character in the beginning of the movie is more immature.
Lighting/sound/editing
I would definitely use more types of lighting if I had the budget for it. For our project we only used natural light, but if I had the budget I would play around a lot more with the lighting to help the story telling of the film. I would use more 3-point lighting because I feel like it would fit the team and could create a cozy mood for the scenes. I also think at some scenes there are too many shadows so with more lighting I would create more of a high-key lighting. As for the sound I absolutely love the soundtrack Elliah made for us. So I would not change much on the sound maybe only re-record Elliah singing to make it even better quality.
Well that is it for today my fashionistas, let me know in the comments your ideas for a full production movie. And stay tuned for upcoming blogs! Bye!
