Free Advice In Fashion

Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post! Today I wanted to talk more about fashion used in movies as I feel like it can really add so much to a character.
In a movie their costume can convey what type of person they are, what emotional state they are in which can help the watcher get closer to the characters and understand them even more not only emotionally but visually as well.

For example, a more elegant and clean look for the character can convey they are put together and mature, it can be even just simply more visually appealing to the watcher as their style is neat and nice to look at thus making the watcher like the character more. On the other hand a more rugged up, dirtier and less neat look can convey a more of a messy emotional state and probably suggest to the watcher that the character is
going through a hard time at that point of the movie.

In our movie we wanted to convey an immature but comfy look for our character as she is just turning 18 meaning we want to show the audience that in the beginning of the movie she is not as mature yet foreshadowing the self growth she will got through by the end of the movie. That is why a pink little sweatshirt with some cute jeans seemed like a good fit for the character.

When thinking about costuming or styling it is also a good thing to watch out for some color combos! Personally, green and pink is my favorite combo for giving off an earthy and magical, fairy type of look, this for example could be used a fanfiction movie. Their is also matching colors like red and white, you might think its nothing special but it is a great way to add to a character, because white can suggest purity and innocence and red can imply violence, and impurity, so when these two are put together it can create a very contrasting look!
That is it for today my fashionistas, I hope I could give you guys some inspiration when it comes to styling and costuming. Stay tuned for more blog posts! Bye!
