Welcome back my beautifuls for todays blog. Today we will be talking about the title sequencing in our project. 


At first we had some struggle figuring out how we wanted to do our title sequencing there were lots of ideas at first, so lets discuss this:

The first title sequencing we were thinking about how we


wanted to include video playing that Gigi is watching that has her and her mother together with memories, and with a dissolve method we would include the title sequencing as the video is going through all the memories Gigi and her mom had. However we ended up scratching the idea of including this video so consequently we could not use this title sequencing. 

Kinda similar to the previous idea, we were thinking including a scene in the beginning where Gigi is flipping through a photo and as she is flipping through the pages, on each page the title sequencing would appear. However similarly like the previous scene we ended up cutting this scene out. Thus making us think of another ideas to do the title sequencing.

We also thought about making the title sequence appear just at the corner of the movie opening as Gigi is getting ready with some nostalgic music in the background, however, we just felt like it was too boring and did nit add much visual to our movie opening. So we wanted to do something more interesting and something that really draws in the watchers attention.

Finally, we decided that since the movie opening is supposed to show Gigi getting ready for her birthday we thought how we should include the title sequencing on the makeup products as Gigi is picking them up to use it, using a zoom up of a products we can clearly edit on our title sequencing, this


idea to put the title sequencing on subjects actually cam from Deadpool as we liked the way they included the title sequence in the scene itself on a subjects that the main character is using, rather than just appearing in the corner or around the characters.

In the end to include the title of the movie in a final shot we wanted to use the smoke coming from the candle as Gigi blows it out to fade to white or black (we haven't quite decided) to include our final scene of the movie opening by showing our title.

CCR  Welcome back my beautifuls in todays blog I will be discussing my reflection I had regarding the project! To do my reflection I decided to draw an animation to illustrate and do a voiceover, I also included some slides to condense some information. I think the animation is very cute and kind of an attention hook. It took some time to finally complete it as I first drew the animation and timed each frame so it matches the voiceover. The Finished Collection Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post! Today I am happy to announce that we have finally finished our entire project! I! I just have to say it was sure an interesting and fun experience. I tried and learned a lot of techniques regarding media including learning about different angles, shot sizes, camera movements. I even made my very own story boarding twice! I also learned about the miss and scene of movie making and how costuming, the setting, actors, lighting, all of that can add so much characteristics and improved story telling to a movie. When making our project there were lot of things we could use, and making the right choices in our movie making did put up a challenge for us. Creating a story opening with the mood we wanted to convey and to tell our storyline required us to think about a lot of components when it comes to movie making so we could make this project something we can be proud of presenting.
