Editing The Canvas

Welcome back beautifuls for todays blog and today we will be talking about editing we used in our project. For most of the editing my group member Thus was responsible.

The software we use for our editing is capcut, it is a

convenient app we can use as everyone in our group is similar with it so if we need to all of us can help out here and there, it is also a very see through app and just easy to use it so it makes our editing a lot more efficient. We did not use much effects for our blog only some lighter effects in scenes we thought the lighting needed some tweaking. As for transitions we mostly use dissolve as it
fits the nostalgic vibe of the movie opening between scenes, we also used some straight cuts as well without any special transition, we just though it fits some scenes better that do not need any transitions. We also decided to add some sounds later on after doing the foley stage which was mostly done by Minh, so we only need to edit in the sounds to match the visuals which is coming along pretty well.

When we were editing our scenes together we realized that our video was a bit long for what is

required so it became a question to how to the video shorter. Should we refilm? Should we cut scenes out? however, we ended up solving this issue by looking over the video and if some scenes felt longer that we needed them to we just cut them shorter. I think this was a great way to solve the issue as not only we managed to shorten the video to the required length we also managed to realize how some scenes were just either unnecessary and some were truly just too long so it ended up improving our movie opening.

My Favorite Pieces Of Fabric

 Favorite Designs Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post, today I will be going over my favorite parts of our finished project, and I have to say I have a lot of things to discuss with you guys, so let's jump right into it! First things first the immediate factor that catches my attention was the soundtrack. It right off the bat gives a girly and happy tone to the scenes, so it is very fitting and creates a great mood when watching. It fits this genre so well and conveys the personality cues of the main character, so it is definitely one of my favorite parts in the movie. Moreover, I also very much liked the title sequencing, I think it was executed so well, just as we imagined it, or even better. It creates a casual vibe to the movie as it creates a focus on the makeup and Gigi getting ready. CCR  Welcome back my beautifuls in todays blog I will be discussing my reflection I had regarding the project! To do my reflection I decided to draw an animation to illustrate and do a voiceover, I also included some slides to condense some information. I think the animation is very cute and kind of an attention hook. It took some time to finally complete it as I first drew the animation and timed each frame so it matches the voiceover.
