 Coloring in the project


Welcome back beautifuls to todays blog post! I'm always excited to talk more about our project, so for today I thought we could get into the color theory we choose to use in our movie. so lets get to it!

when it comes to color theory we know it can play a significant role in the type of mood and feeling we want to create in the watcher. since our project is about a coming of age movie about a younger girl we want to create a natural looking environment and use color contest clues to refer to our main character personality.

Our main character wears a pink sweatshirt to make her look comforting and more feminine to the watcher, using this soft color the watcher may feel closer to the character and sense their fragility as we use pastels to make her appear more pale. Furthermore we use a toned down colors to contrast how it is a cheerful day as the main character is celebrating her birthday but instead of using cheerful vibrant colors we used more toned down ones to emphasize Gigi's sadness in the movie opening. We used a blueish natural light to make the room appear colder and add a rigid feeling to the scenery. 

As for the decoration is full of colors and posters to convey the characters personality and add more to her character, the colorful and vibrant colors on the wall makes the room give off more comfort as it can be seen that someone's living their and its just full of personality. In the room there is a princess, antique furniture used which is in light colors including green, gold, pink the majority of green can be appeared a sign of earthy and even expensive, the hint of gold engraved into the furniture further creates a pretty appealing look of the room, and the pink flowers painted on gives a comforting and feminine feeling to the appearance of the room.

CCR  Welcome back my beautifuls in todays blog I will be discussing my reflection I had regarding the project! To do my reflection I decided to draw an animation to illustrate and do a voiceover, I also included some slides to condense some information. I think the animation is very cute and kind of an attention hook. It took some time to finally complete it as I first drew the animation and timed each frame so it matches the voiceover. The Finished Collection Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post! Today I am happy to announce that we have finally finished our entire project! I! I just have to say it was sure an interesting and fun experience. I tried and learned a lot of techniques regarding media including learning about different angles, shot sizes, camera movements. I even made my very own story boarding twice! I also learned about the miss and scene of movie making and how costuming, the setting, actors, lighting, all of that can add so much characteristics and improved story telling to a movie. When making our project there were lot of things we could use, and making the right choices in our movie making did put up a challenge for us. Creating a story opening with the mood we wanted to convey and to tell our storyline required us to think about a lot of components when it comes to movie making so we could make this project something we can be proud of presenting.
