Putting Fashion On Mood

Welcome back my beautifuls for todays blog Today we will be doing our mood board for our movie opening. To start off we wanted to establish a more moody and lonely tone as well as putting some emphasize on the story of the movie as well.


So how did we end up choosing the pictures we decided on? Well first of all we wanted to emphasize the family dynamic of our main character. We did this by including father- daughter pictures as well as one picture of them with her mother as well, however going off the same idea we used a white roses picture to symbolize the passing of a character (her mother) than we also included pictures indicating missed calls and messages as to show the distance of her father. 

Next on we needed to move on the birthday idea it self. We included some obvious hints such as birthday sash and birthday cake, we also included some birthday pictures that indicate a sad time even though its a birthday, this is to further highlight the idea of the movie opening. 

For finishing pictures we included pictures that just overall match the mood of loneliness and kind of brings that gloomier vibe, such as the rainy window picture, to really try to solidify a specific mood to our mood board.

To put everything together we shared a canva document and put all kinds of pictures that we each individually thought would be good for the mood board. Then we just organized and selected the main pictures we agreed would be the best to use.


So that is the process behind making the mood board and I have to say I am satisfied with the result. I think we were able to capture the feeling we wanted to convey as well as the story of our film opening. CCR  Welcome back my beautifuls in todays blog I will be discussing my reflection I had regarding the project! To do my reflection I decided to draw an animation to illustrate and do a voiceover, I also included some slides to condense some information. I think the animation is very cute and kind of an attention hook. It took some time to finally complete it as I first drew the animation and timed each frame so it matches the voiceover. The Finished Runway Looks

The Finished Collection Welcome back my beautifuls for today's blog post! Today I am happy to announce that we have finally finished our entire project! I! I just have to say it was sure an interesting and fun experience. I tried and learned a lot of techniques regarding media including learning about different angles, shot sizes, camera movements. I even made my very own story boarding twice! I also learned about the miss and scene of movie making and how costuming, the setting, actors, lighting, all of that can add so much characteristics and improved story telling to a movie. When making our project there were lot of things we could use, and making the right choices in our movie making did put up a challenge for us.
